Wins the ‘Best Mild Beer’ award amidst intense competition

The BEST MILD BEER award has re-affirmed that Fosters, the famous Aussie lager, has once again proved that it is truly the preferred choice of the Indian beer connoisseur. Fosters, a symbol of brewing excellence, bagged this prestigious award at INDSPIRIT 2008, organised by Ambrosia in Mumbai on 14 November, 2008. Fosters, trouncing the other brands in what was a closely contested race, emerged the finest among brands such as Kingfisher Mild, Budweiser, Carlsberg, Stella Artois, Beck’s, Tiger and Cobra. Other SAB Miller brands, Peroni and Royal Challenge Premium were also nominated in the ‘Mild Beer’ category.

INDSPIRIT awards have been instituted by Ambrosia, a monthly publication for the alcobev industry for years. INDSPIRIT’08 had awards being conferred in different categories: Alcobev products, personalities, companies and special achievement awards. The winners were chosen by people who voted online for their favourite brand and personalities from the various categories of INDSPIRIT 08.
