Haywards 5000 announced mega initiatives for 2008 and signed Bollywood’s leading macho men – Sanjay Dutt and Sunil Shetty as the brand ambassadors. For the first time ever, these two stars shot an elaborate TV campaign for Haywards 5000.

The campaign theme has been personally created by Piyush Pandey, Executive Chairman and National Creative Director, Ogilvy and Mather, as it involved the film industry’s biggies.

In sync with Haywards 5000’s strong and slick image, the unique plot of the ad revolves around an action theme wherein Sanjay and Sunil, at their stylish best, use Haywards 5000 bottles as ammunition to fight against the goons trying to rob the pub. The commercial involves Sanjay’s Matrix-style sequences and Suniel’s class act. The commercial was shot at the Ramoji Rao Film City, Hyderabad and took 3 days to shoot as it involved complex action sequences.

Stunt Director William, who is currently working on various Bollywood projects, was specially called from Thailand to perfect the action. The director of the commercial, Vishal Mangalorekar from Infiniti Films, has previously worked with numerours stars including Hrithink Roshan, Aishwarya Rai and Saif Ali Khan to name a few.

 

The commercial is running on all leading TV channels across the country.

 

Haywards 5000 has also shot a viral campaign with Sanjay Dutt promoting “Mardangiri” as a concept. The theme idea is to make today’s men recall and reinstill values of being real men. The viral has been promoted through various news channels like Aaj Tak, Star News and Live India. A new microsite is being created to promote the viral through the internet.
